Rain Dance

The Kashmir Floods destroyed all my art, as my studio and residence got washed out. Luckily a close friend came to my rescue and offered me a room in his luxury apartment in Delhi. Though he strictly asked me to avoid painting in his room, I would secretly paint in the toilet sitting on the WC seat. It was a crazy experience but it gave me the Rain Dance Series.
Rain Dance is minimalistic art work created with mixed medium. I have coated powder paint on hard canvas and embellished it with coat buttons. The overall feel is surreal and futuristic.
